Java Gallery is owned by Rein and Linda Pille. Rein, a semi-retired airline captain married Linda, a native Sundanese from West -Java, in 1994 and began their export business from their home in Bali. They now own a showroom, retail shop and factory in Oberoi near Kuta on the island of Bali.

Java Gallery’s success has come as a result of the personal attention to detail that Rein, Linda and their family in Bali give to every order. They know that your satisfaction with their products and service must always come first.

At Java Gallery’s factory in Bali the exceptionally talented crafters who create our unique pieces use hand tools and techniques passed down in family traditions for over a thousand years. The pieces we design, build and offer you are more than just functional or practical; they are living works of art.

Our Materials and Wood Harvest Policies

Java Gallery’s unique hand-crafted furnishings, carved doors and art treasures are made from the finest tropical hardwoods such as Java Teak, Suar and Kayu Mas. Teak is naturally insect-resistant and will last lifetimes. All of our new teak wood products and garden furniture is responsibly harvested and replanted to ensure a healthy and sustainable environment in these beautiful tropical islands.

Linda’s Sundanese (West-Java) heritage and extensive family contacts endow her with the unique ability to locate rare antiques and one-of-a-kind objects not normally available to Western brokers.
