Authentic
Antiques Gallery
If you read our About
Us page you know that Linda was born
and raised in Java and Bali. Her extensive
family network endows her with a unique
ability to locate and buy only the finest
antiques for you. The pieces we buy are
authentic and one-of-a-kind. Many
have fascinating ownership histories and
are traditionally handed down from generation
to generation.
All our antiques were made from Javanese
old-growth teak and many are two to four
hundred years old. If you see an object
that interests you, or have a specific request,
do not hesitate to e-mail us any time at
pille@java-gallery.com.

Custom
Interior Furnishing Reproductions from Your
Design or Ours
Because Java Gallery owns and operates a
family-run manufacturing shop in Bali, we
employ only highly-skilled artisans who
are masters at creating virtually any conceivable
article of furniture. We can work from our
own unique designs or your drawings, sketches
or photographs. We use mostly fine old Javanese
teak (about 75%) and handcrafting methods
that have been handed down for generations.

Hand-Carved
Exterior and Interior Doors
Java Gallery offers you hand-carved doors
made of Teak and Kayu Mas. Kayu Mas means
"Golden Wood," and embodies a
rich lustrous depth unmatched by any wood
available in the West. Each of our doors
is individually hand crafted from only the
finest center-cut heartwood. They are all
carefully milled and kiln-dried to an even,
correct moisture content of 6-10% to avoid
splitting and cracking.
Each door is hand-carved and our unique
designs depict exotic birds, scenic rivers,
bamboo forests and jungle motifs. All doors
can be made in standard U.S., Canadian or
European dimensions or any dimension desired
by you. Designs can be chosen from our repertoire
or custom-fabricated to your specifications.
We have a limited number of Kayu Mas doors
left as we are phasing them out and replacing
them with teak which is a stronger, more
durable door material.

Garden
and Patio Furniture
Javanese teak is world-renowned as the ideal
wood for exterior use. It resists insects,
is virtually rot-proof, weathers beautifully
and lasts for years and years. Teak is used
worldwide even today in yacht construction
for decking, cabins, trim and even hull
planking. Java Gallery can design and custom
manufacture patio furniture for you in any
style you choose. We use only the highest
quality plantation-grown new teak, occasional
old teak and superior joinery methods for
a long-lasting durable product that will
look great and be a joy to own.
